Maker's Note

The slab was selected for its straight grain and quiet figure. The live edge along the back is retained — not decorative, but as an honest record of where the tree ended. Legs are steel rod, welded and blackened. The joint between materials is the detail.

Care

Oil annually with raw linseed or tung oil. Avoid extended exposure to direct sun which will fade the colour over years — or allow it to, if that is your preference.
