Copper

Solid copper. Not plated, not coated. The surface oxidises and develops a patina specific to its environment and handling.

Walnut

American black walnut, selected for grain uniformity. Air-dried and acclimatised before milling.

Leather

Vegetable tanned leather from traditional tanneries. Selected for structural integrity and grain character.

Linen

Heavyweight natural linen. Undyed or naturally coloured.

Steel

Mild steel, blackened or left raw. Used structurally — legs, frames, hardware.

Iron Oxide

Natural mineral pigment. Used in the Studio Works programme in combination with cold wax and encaustic media.
