The Metal & Stone atelier works primarily in copper, brass, and steel. Casting is used where form demands it. Otherwise, everything is formed from solid material — forged, bent, filed, and finished. The goal is to make metal work that cannot be mistaken for anything other than what it is.
Metal is annealed before forming to prevent work-hardening cracking. Complex curves require multiple annealing cycles. All surfaces are finished by hand — no machine polishing. Oxidisation is achieved through controlled exposure to the workshop environment, not chemical acceleration.
